About Le Cercle Francais

Le Cercle Français is one of the largest language societies here at the University of Sheffield! We are open to any student who has an interest in the French language and culture, whether you’re a native French-speaker, studying French at Sheffield or doing an entirely different course and just want to get involved - we have something for you! We run lots of events both academic and casual to suit all our members, ranging from Pause Cafés (social speaking events where you can have the opportunity to interact with fluent French speakers) to Cheese Wine Evenings (simply come along and gorge yourself on cheese all night!)
